More Observations Wed 28 JAN 09

I shoveled the driveway. All the way to the plowed street.

I have looked upon my work and It Is Good.

After finishing my exertions, I couldn't resist giving a lurk to my old political site.

There are two perspectives I have:

I got out at the right time. The elction is over, those who lost are in denial, one part of the winning side is tripping (a minority), and the majority of the winning side realizes that they are Wile E. Coyote after catching the Road Runner:

Ta Da!- NOW WHAT?!?

The other perspective is more important, and acknowledged only by a few on the board:

We're screwed. No fiscal stimulus can fix this economy. The debt is just too great; world-wide.

The airplane is going down. All that is left is to choose a forced landing spot, before we reach V-s (stall speed).

All the repercussions that follow are inevitable.

Again, a great time to leave a pointless shouting match. I do miss many of the posters, but, as in one poster's opinion, a few idiots can ruin a good bar (his example was a condo association, but it still holds).
